The mock-up or whatever of the RNC is really good looking. Who ever did it should be applauded. The pixel detail is stunning.
I think the shading/lighting is my favorite part. Working in pixels also makes sense when you see the rigid and stern feel of the stage.
I wonder how they will shoot this… That flag has got to look great behind anyone. Patton anyone?
Pixel art also suggests a more progressive stance on the internet (unlike obama’s veep, biden).
It has also been noted that the stage looks fascist, but i think it will translate better IRL.

I try not to “blog” because I find it silly. However right now I am compelled to let you all in on something…
I am a huge X-Files fan. Not like a geeky “I know every tidbit” kinda fan, but a really huge fan that enjoys the show. I have been watching the show all week on the Sci-Fi network and couldn’t be happier. Maybe I’ll pick up the DVDs.
