O.M.G.G.

SPOTTED: Gossip Girl cast at the St. George Theater on Staten Island. Seems you got your memos mixed up Upper-East Siders, I heard Denino’s and Ralph’s Ices is more of a summertime thing… maybe something shady is afoot…
Until next time…you know you love me,
xoxo Gossip Girl.

Let me preface this with saying I’m not a stalker. I do not find out where these people are and follow them there, but when they show up on my home turf – you can bet I’ll be there, camera (phone) in hand. My friend and I arrive at the St. George Theater at about 6 o’clock. Aside from 1 other girl and the 2 guys she dragged along with her, we were the only ones there. SCORE. So we peek through the windows for a good hour, chain smoking and watching people pass by the inner doorway. And incredibly unexpectedly (adverb power!), my first sighting occurs. Chace Crawford (Nate) walks right past me and into the building. His statue-esque perfection completely rendered me speechless, motionless. Not even minutes later, out walks Leighton Meester (Blair) – bundled up and in slippers, looking pale and sick. I didn’t bother her because who needs a girl who worships you praising you while you’re sick…. moving on. More people start to show up at this point – so we make friends with our fellow GG groupies. All for one, one for all. Except for the bitches on the other side of the theater, screw them. And then, behold, out walk Penn Badgley and Blake Lively (Dan and Serena). Now, I’ve been head over heels crazy in love with Penn Badgley since he was in ‘John Tucker Must Die’ so imagine my heart to see him right in front of me. I think I temporarily forgot to breathe. And, sweetheart that he is, he agrees to take pictures. He and Blake pose with various groups of girls and various cameras before heading to the trailers to change. The guard was rushing them, but Blake (sweet manstealer that she is), made sure everyone got their picture. Can I get a collective ‘awwwww’? And here he comes now, Mr. Ed Westwick (Chuck). All I wanted was to hear him talk in his adorable little British accent (c’mon, ya had to know I was a sucker for it) and all my friend wanted was a legitimate picture with him to put her photoshop attempts to shame. Sadly, he was rushed to his trailer…. but don’t think we stopped there. Yeah, we followed him. So we stood, camped outside his trailer, in the rain, sharing an umbrella with a girl we’d only met a half hour ago. He cracks the window to his trailer, which prompts the 2 guys dragged there by a friend to begin yelling British references (i.e. OASIS ROCKS!, God Save The Queen!). Finally he emerges from his trailer, umbrella in hand, greets all the creepy girls outside his trailer – and is then rushed into the theater. YOU CAN’T EVEN HEAR THE ACCENT WHEN HE JUST SAYS HI! :::Sigh:::

Well, I am still on a mission. I WILL get my picture with Chace Crawford, Leighton Meester, and Ed Westwick.

Round 2 begins today at 12:30.

Ding ding ding, BITCHES.

(btw: Sweetheart of the night award goes to: John Shea (Blair’s dad / Dominic from ‘Sex and the City’) who casually roamed the streets of St. George and stopped for many a photo, what a swell guy.)
