I like cars that go super fast. Right after I made this I started looking through old Vogue (Italian), Elle (American), and L’Officiel (Paris) magazines from the mid 80’s (thanks Kristin!). Some really dope shit, holy crap!!! I’ll show my results in the coming weeks.

Bored between classes, I started playing with the copy machine in the library. I took the copies home and printed a distorted image from the movie Far From Heaven. The photocopy is of a dollar bill (as well as copies of copies of a dollar bill) increased by random percentages (75% – 400%) and the photos was taken off of my television at F4.91.3 ISO400 with no flash and a weird white balance.
see the rest of the photocopies…

I’ve uploaded my Polaroids from the weekend I spent in Germany and Amsterdam. You can view them at http://www.augiemania.com/germany_amsterdam.html.
The photos break down into three categories (although you wouldn’t be able to tell from the way I’ve arranged them); Stuff in the Cities, My Hotel, and My Girlfriend Kristin.
About 1/3 to 1/2 of the Polaroids have this weird line on the writing area, I guess to aid in writing, don’t mind those. I know I don’t. I just wish that the boxes would contain that information. I could imagine someone getting very upset…
Anyways, I had a blast and I would like to go back.
P.S. I visited Cologne (Köln). Quiet city, nice stuff, Great Beer.
Happy Valentines Day!

Some of my photographs have been selected to be in the Annual CSI Student Exhibition. My final will also be hung. [For those that don't know, its 96 Polaroid images tiled against a 4x3 board. (I got an A suckas!)] This occasion will mark the first time that anything I’ve done will be exhibited, and even though it’s a student exhibition that’s buried in the basement of 1P, I am really proud.
